What we process and why
- Photographs — to produce an indicative appearance assessment in this session.
- Name, email and mobile, if you provide them — emailed to info@drselinaclinics.co.uk so a member of the team can contact you about this analysis and next steps. A short summary of the indicative score and suggested discussion points is included. Photographs are not emailed.
Lawful basis for the photographs is your explicit consent. Lawful basis for contact details is your request to be contacted about this enquiry. Optional marketing is only used if you separately agree.
What we do not do
- We do not diagnose medical conditions.
- We do not create biometric identity templates or use facial recognition.
- We do not infer race, ethnicity, religion or health conditions from your face.
- We do not advertise prescription-only medicines.
- We do not sell your photographs or contact details.
How your photograph is processed
- You take or upload photos in this browser.
- A compressed copy is sent to the app server for a single analysis request.
- The server sends that copy to an AI provider (xAI) to generate an appearance reading. Photographs from this app are not used to train models.
- Safety rules check the wording before you see a result.
- If you tap Send my details, name, email and/or mobile are emailed to info@drselinaclinics.co.uk. Photographs are not emailed.
Photographs stay in your browser for this session. Close the tab or clear site data to delete local copies. Email the clinic to ask them to delete an enquiry you have sent.
Special category data
Facial images used to observe skin may be treated as biometric and/or health-related data under UK GDPR. A Data Protection Impact Assessment and legal review are required before production use on a clinic-controlled domain.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal data the clinic holds, and you may withdraw consent. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
